Zeus Rhodesian ridgeback

Chai comes in to try an get some of my coffee of a morning before he goes off for the day he is a 4 year old Eastern Grey I raised from a pinkie.  Then there is Zeus our dog.  This  photo was 12 months ago he is 14 months old now  and a wonderful addition to our family.

He protects the kangaroos and us.  He never has made any attempt to hurt any other animal.  A lot of people say you shouldnt have dogs if you do wildlife but I feel as long as they are kept away from them if the kangaroos see him in a different place they will run from him, which means they still have their sense of fear of dogs. I think most wildlife carers love all animals our dogs have always worked well with the wildlife and we feel much safer at night with him as a guard dog.   Out here in the bush even though we are a long way from town you still have some very strange things happen sometimes.
